A floodlit celebration of girls' football, bringing local schools together to play, compete and show why they love the game.
The HerMove Mayor's Cup is one of the highlights of our year. Under the floodlights, girls from schools across East Grinstead come together for an evening of football, teamwork and community spirit. It is competitive, it is joyful, and above all it is about showing girls that football is for them.
More than a match The Cup is part of something bigger. HerMove exists to get more women and girls active, and football is one of the clearest places where girls can be left on the sidelines. Working alongside East Grinstead Meads and the Sussex County FA, the Mayor's Cup is a chance to connect schools, clubs, coaches and families, and to open doors for girls who want to keep playing long after the final whistle.
