Highlights from a Day of Empowerment at the Felbridge Ladies Cricket Festival

On Sunday, July 27th, we had the pleasure of supporting a truly special event that embodies everything HerMove stands for: the "Styled By Susie - Spirit Empowerment Ladies Cricket Festival," hosted by our wonderful partners at Felbridge & Sunnyside Cricket Club.

The day was a vibrant celebration of women's sport, bringing together four local teams for a tournament filled with skill, camaraderie, and community spirit. After a series of exciting matches, we extend our warmest congratulations to the overall winners, Haywards Heath Cricket Club Ladies!

A True Community Effort

What made the event so remarkable was the incredible collaboration from across our community. The day was expertly organised by Aaron and the club's volunteers, who created a welcoming atmosphere for players and spectators alike.

The sense of empowerment was strengthened by the support of fantastic local leaders and businesses. East Grinstead Deputy Mayor Stephanie Reeves graciously presented the prizes to the winning teams. The festival was made possible by its title sponsor, Styled By Susie, with additional prize sponsorships from other brilliant female-owned businesses: Carrie Overton Coaching, Cinderhellie Nails, and Kiwiazz.

Before the first match, Gee & Alice from ATLAS Fitness Conditioning were on hand to lead the players through a professional warm-up, ensuring everyone was ready for the day's action.

As an added bonus to a wonderful day, the event successfully raised funds for the club's new clubhouse fund, a vital project that will benefit the entire community for years to come.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved for creating an event that not only showcases the talent in local women's cricket but also proves how powerful we are when we come together to support one another.
